Terms and conditions

Conditions that apply when using the website’s public information and features.

Website provider

The website is operated by Radu Florin Alin – Cabinet de avocat. The available professional and contact details are permanently displayed under “Provider identification” in the footer.

Romanian lawyers are governed by Law no. 51/1995, the Statute of the Legal Profession and professional rules adopted by the National Association of Romanian Bars, available through www.unbr.ro.

Purpose and acceptance

The website presents information about the practice, services, team and editorial materials and offers contact methods. By accessing it, you accept the version of these terms available at the time of use.

If you disagree, do not use the forms; you may request clarification through the public contact details.

No online contracting or payment

The website does not enable an online legal-services contract, display firm availability, make bookings or accept payment. A form, email or message is only a contact request and does not require the practice to accept a matter.

A lawyer–client relationship begins only after the necessary checks, including identity and potential conflicts, express agreement and execution of a legal-assistance agreement in the form required by professional rules.

General information, not legal advice

Content is general, may be simplified and is not legal advice, a professional opinion for a specific situation or a promise of outcome. Law and practice may change, and information is not guaranteed to be complete for every circumstance.

Do not act or delay action solely because of website content. Specific matters require individual assessment, relevant documents and confirmation of an engagement.

Initial requests and confidentiality

Sending a request does not guarantee acceptance and does not automatically establish professional secrecy or a lawyer–client relationship. Until an engagement and conflict clearance are confirmed, submit only what is strictly needed for initial assessment and do not upload documents through the contact form.

See the Privacy policy for personal-data processing. Career CVs are accepted only through the dedicated form and are kept in private storage.

Communications and outcomes

We do not guarantee a response time, acceptance of a matter or any outcome. Examples, practice areas and published materials are not comparisons with other professionals and must not be read as guarantees of success.

Email and internet communications may be delayed, intercepted or contain errors. For urgent deadlines, confirm receipt through an agreed channel after the professional relationship is established.

Content rights

Texts, structure, graphics, branding and other materials are protected by intellectual-property law and belong to their respective owners. You may view them and share links to public pages for legitimate, non-commercial use.

Substantial copying, republication, alteration, commercial use, removal of attribution or presentation as your own requires prior permission, except where expressly permitted by law.

Acceptable use and security

Do not use the website for unlawful activity, malicious content, unauthorised security testing, excessive automation, disruption or harvesting other people’s data. We may restrict access as needed to protect the service and users.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or completely error-free operation. Features may be changed, suspended or withdrawn without notice for maintenance, security or content updates.

External services and links

Google Maps loads automatically on the Contact page. External links to Google Maps, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, the SAL platform and other destinations open when selected. We do not control these services’ availability, security or content; the external provider’s terms and policies apply.

An external link is provided for directions, contact or information and is not an endorsement of all third-party opinions or services.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made solely from general information, temporary unavailability or the actions of external services. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Consumers and alternative dispute resolution

For consumer disputes within its competence, the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection provides the alternative dispute-resolution platform at reclamatiisal.anpc.ro. The official SAL pictogram appears in the website footer.

The website does not use or link to the former European ODR platform, which has been discontinued. SAL access does not remove any other remedy available by law.

Governing law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by Romanian law and the rules of the legal profession. Disputes are handled by the competent authorities or courts under the law, without affecting mandatory consumer protections. Questions may be sent to alin.radu@rfa-avocati.ro.

We may update these terms to reflect legal, professional or technical changes. Version 2 applies from 10 August 2026.
